What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Personal information
When you sign up for an account, we collect your callsign and an email address. These are used to enable you to login and access the services of the site and for the site to send you information emails including the availability of results (propagation predictions and terrain profiles) you requested.
Propagation predictions require information including a location and a description of the transmit power & antenna configurations for each band for which a prediction is generated. A terrain profile requires accurate location information from which to generate the profile. Location information is stored using latitude and longitude values.
Cookies
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect basic information on site usage. Who we share your data with
When you subscribe to the services of the site, you supply information including your name, address, telephone number and credit card information. This is transferred using a secure channel to our payment processor to enable your payment to be collected. We do not store any of this information on our site.
With the exception of payment transactions, we do not share your information with anyone – period.
How long we retain your data
If you create content on our site such as propagation predictions, station configurations, upload contest logs or antenna model files, this content remains on the site until you delete it. Results from propagation predictions or terrain profiles are retained for a time period ranging from one hour to one week depending on the data type. After the retention period, the results are permanently deleted.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their own personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
